Monopole Metropole hotel
The Monopole Metropole Hotel is a traditional corner property, which dates from the turn of the 20th century and has an appropriately ornate façade. In contrast to the exterior, the lobby has recently been renovated in a modern style. The 90 guestrooms come in two styles: the traditional ones feature antique furniture, while the modern ones are less atmospheric but have more up-to-date amenities and are adorned with paintings by young local artists. All are clean and well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. The bar is a warm, quiet venue, where you can have a drink while admiring the unique collection of Alsatian antiques. The hotel also offers a Continental buffet every morning in its welcoming breakfast room, which is decorated with hunting trophies.
