Named after a well-known family of porcelain-makers, the Hannong Hotel is a charming, boutique property housed in a traditional corner building. Inside, the hotel conveys a refined atmosphere, evident in the elegant staircases, grand landings, wood panelling and fine artwork. The décor is a blend of the traditional and the modern, with 18th-century Hannong pottery dotted around and contemporary art on the walls. Though not large, the lobby opens up onto a generous seating area. All 72 guestrooms have a classic yet comfortable feel, with hardwood floors and original wall coverings. Flooded with natural light, thanks to its glass ceiling, the hotel’s Salon Horn features a wonderful red Alicante marble floor and a large fresco depicting the property’s history. It offers a fine selection of wines by the glass, regular wine tasting evenings and Jazz Music.
