The hotel is located in Strasbourg's peaceful, leafy residential suburb of Lingolsheim. Although it is 6 kilometres south-west of the city centre, train, bus and tram links are quick and efficient (the train station is only a couple of hundred metres from the hotel.)

The Atelys Hotel is a modern property with a blue façade. It has its own car park and houses 78 guestrooms. The medium sized lobby is appointed in an understated but pleasant modern style, with lots of light wood and parquet. The guestrooms are decorated in a similar style, with a splash of colour added by the brightly patterned bedding. The hotel offers a Continental buffet every morning in its welcoming breakfast room. Though not especially central, this is a simple, clean and comfortable 2-star property offering good value for money.
