Strasbourg Airport

Strasbourg Airport is rather small and offers flights to a limited number of destinations. There are direct flights from London Gatwick airport six days a week. The airport is located 10km from the heart of the city and the journey takes approximately 15 minutes by car or taxi. It is also possible to get to and from the airport by tram - Take the A line to the Baggersee station, from the station there are shuttles every 20 minutes to the airport terminal building.

General Transport

Strasbourg has a modern, efficient tram and bus system operated by Compagnie des Transports Strasbourgeois. The buses and trams run on the same ticketing scheme and have identical charges so you can just jump on which ever one turns up first. Every bus / tram station is equiped with two ticket vending machines which accept cash or credit cards.

Rhine River Transport

The Rhine River is an important transport link for visitors to Strasbourg and generates over 100,000 tourists each year.
